The "War on X" metaphor is so overstrained that any intelligent person ought to simultaneously laugh and cry upon hearing the phrase and recalling the great successes of the War on Poverty, War on Drugs, and War on Terrorism; but who said that the folks who want to wage war on porn are intelligent, anyway?
